Ease of access, both international and local, is fast becoming one of our biggest drawing cards. Lake Louise is 185 km (115 miles) west of Calgary - an easy and enthralling two-hour drive on the spectacularly scenic Trans-Canada Highway - the country's main transportation artery and just 60 km (36 miles) past the town of Banff. Frequent direct or one-stop flights connect Calgary with almost all major North American and European cities. Car Rental is, of course, available, as is shuttle bus service to both Banff and Lake Louise as well as the Ski Bus Express from most Banff Hotels to and from Lake Louise.
