The Lake Louise Ski Area is pleased to announce that they will be opening up the Grizzly Express Gondola lift for the season on Saturday, November 29.
The Grizzly Gondola, which transports skiers and riders out of the base area to the top of the mountain, has a vertical rise of 2,414 feet and will provide access to additional runs on both the front side and back side of the mountain.
With the addition of the Grizzly Express Gondola, Lake Louise will have a total of six lifts in operation including Glacier Express Quad, Top of the World Six Pack, Summit Platter, Paradise Triple Chair and the Sunny T-Bar.
With the addition of the Grizzly Express Gondola, lift ticket prices starting on Saturday, November 29th will be $59.95 for adults, $41.95 for youth and seniors and $19.95 for children. Louise Card holders will ski and ride for the reduced rate of $44.95 for adults, and $26.75 for youth/seniors.
If all goes according to plan, look for both the Larch and Ptarmigan quad chairs to open before the December 5-7 weekend.
